DHAL MAKAHNI RECIPE

INGREDIENTS:

100 gms Urad (whole black lentil)
25 gms Rajma (kidney beans)
1/2 Tsp Chili Powder
1/2 Tsp Cinnamon Powder
100 ml Tomato Puree
50 gms Butter
50 gms Fresh Cream
1 Tsp Kasturi Methi
Salt to taste

METHOD:

Clean, wash and soak the whole urad and rajma overnight.
Pressure cook the dals until they are overcooked and mashed.
Add the chili, cinnamon, tomato puree, Kasuri methi, butter and Cream.
Can be served with pulaos, rotis, and parathas.
