BHINDI DO PIYAZ RECIPE

INGREDIENTS:

150 Gms Lady’s finger – cut into 1″ inch Long
2 no’s Onions - finely sliced
2 no’s Tomato - finely chopped
¼ tsp Jeera seeds
1 inch Ginger – grated
½ tsp Chili powder
¼ tsp Turmeric Powder
1 pinch Asafetida
¼  tsp Coriander powder
¼ tsp Garam masala powder (optional)
1 tsp Kasoori methi
3 sprig Coriander leaves

METHOD:

Okra must be shallow fried
One onion cut into dices and to be shallow fried and kept a side
Okra cut into one inch long pieces
Add jeera seeds, ginger Julian’s, turmeric powder
Add chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder and cook for some time
Add tomatoes, and cook until the tomatoes becomes soft
Add okra and mix well add asafetida, kasuri methi & Lemon
Garnish with coriander leaves
