PANEER LABABDAR



INGREDIENTS:

200 Paneer
½ tsp Jeera seeds
½ tsp Kalonji
½  tsp Coriander powder
1 tbsp Chilli paste
1/2 tsp Kasuri methi
1/2 nos  Onions
1 1/2 tsp Ginger-Garlic paste
1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
1 1/2 Tomatoes
½ Tbsp salted Butter
1 tsp Oil
Salt to taste

Base Sauce - Onion Tadka

Add Kalonji, when it crackles, Add Onion, green chili and  garlic together; Cook until onion turns brown.
Add turmeric, chilli powder & tomatoes with salt, until the tomato becomes very soft.
Shallow fry the Paneer and keep aside

METHOD

Add the ginger-garlic paste.
Add 2 tbsp Onion Tadka with 4 tablespoons of water and cook till the oil separates from the masala.
Add the paneer, garam masala and salt and mix well.
Garnished with chopped coriander.
