INGREDIENTS:
Cook Dal and Spinach together in a cooker
Heat the oil and add the mustard seeds, when the mustard seeds crackles add red chili and roast the chilli
Add green chilies, onion (sauté till the onions turn translucent) add ginger, garlic & turmeric.
Add the spinach and saute for some time, add the cooked dal with adequate water
Add red chili powder, jeera powder, garam masala salt and add the tomatoes and cook until the tomato is soft
Add mint and coriander.

25 Gms Moong dal (split yellow gram)
2 Bunch Spinach
3 no’s Green Chilies
2 no’s Onion
2 no’s Tomato
1 Tbsp Garlic / Ginger Paste
¼ tsp Turmeric Powder
½ tsp Chili Powder
¼ tsp Jeera Powder
¼ tsp Garam Masala
Salt to taste
1 Tbsp Ghee
½ tsp Mustard seeds
3 no’s Whole dry red chili
3 sprig Mint
3 sprig Coriander
Garnish: Chopped coriander and Butter
